  • Walters Art Gallery: Located in the Mount Vernons Cultural District, the Walters Art Museum is an internationally renowned cultural institution and art gallery. It aims to present to viewers a comprehensive history of art, beginning from the third millennium B.C. to the twentieth century. It houses a remarkable collection of ivories, enamels, jewelries and bronzes from the Greek, Roman, Ethiopian and Byzantine empires.
  • Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Museum: TheMount Clare Railroad Station of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad was the station from which the first train in the United States began its journey in the year 1830. The museum comprises the Mount Clare Station, a roundhouse and the print shop, with the centerpiece being the turntable, which connects with more than 20 lines containing coaches and locomotives.
  • Fell's Point: It is a beautifully restored historical area situated along the waterfront. Once the shipbuilding district of Baltimore, the old harbor quarter of Fell's Point also has areas of entertainment that were built for the enjoyment of the seamen. Shops, restaurants and facades now populate the area behind the brick facades of this exquisitely restored quarter.
